Kneeling before the mirror, Aliia closes her eyes, holding the braid above her head and then gently pressing it against her face. The braid becomes a living presence—a weapon of strength and beauty.
She lets the braid hang over her face, rocking her head softly as the braid swings, then tenderly strokes the massive double braid with both hands.
